Food was freezing cold when it arrived. When I rang to speak to someone at the shop, the lady I spoke to was extremely rude & unhelpful. Did not provide a refund & asked if we would bring it back to the shop baring in mind we have a 6 month old baby which is why we used the delivery service in the first instance.

Food quality from here is unmatched, absolutely amazing. One less star because the portion size of the chips was like a child’s. Was barely a handful. Same for the salad, really poor amount, which is a shame as the food itself can’t be faulted!

We ordered a Chicken tikka wrap and an Adana wrap plus cheesy chips. Can’t fault the food from Shawarma- the wraps are delicious and the cheesy chips are amazing - not just cheese on the top of the chips, but placed all the way through - very tasty. Definitely recommend this take away but order direct from the shop or Uber - do NOT use jUST EAT, food ordered via them a few weeks ago, didn’t arrive but they still charged me. Claimed money back via my bank.

I just want to clear a few things up - Shawarma’s food is delicious and first class and that’s why I order from them direct. However, if you read bad reviews on here, cold food, late delivery - ASK how did you order - Just Eat, Uber etc. I had a bad experience with Just Eat on Wednesday I ordered food from their app for Shawarma - delivery guy rang me saying he was lost, he was at the wrong address. He said he needed to ring his boss ( Just Eat) and said he’d ring me back - the call never came …I tried ringing him. Phone switched off. I was charged for the food but NEVER received it - there’s no phone number for Just Eat (customer) everything is done online or via their app. My order number given by Just Eat wasn’t recognised when I entered it on their website which is the only way to complain. The point I’m trying to make is - don’t blame the shop for cold food, late deliveries when you order via a delivery company - the shop/takeaway have no control over this at all. Just Eat might pick up 4 or 5 orders from the same area involving 3 /4/5 shops… it’s pot luck whether you are first on their delivery list or last! My advice is do not use Just Eat order direct from the business you’re dealing with. Please learn from my mistake, don’t let a mistake stop you from ordering from the takeaway - the owner of Shawarma couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating - unfortunately with not ordering from him direct his hands were tied, but he rang me personally and couldn’t have been more apologetic for what had happened - despite the fact it was NOT his fault. Thank you Shawarma - you deserve all the good reviews you get on here. Well done and keep up the good work. Food tonight was amazing again! X
